About Launch!
LaunchDarkly's platform is transformative to the software development cycle and so can impact any company that serves software. The transformation is the decoupling of the deployment process from the release cycle (among other things). The Launch! game was designed and developed to showcase the power of the LaunchDarkly platform (in a real-time application) without the expectation that the interested party (you, hopefully) write up a sample app, download and build a "hello world" app to toy with, or integrate into an existing solution.
Instead, one can download Launch! and enjoy the game. When ready, a trial with LaunchDarkly can be started and the game can be linked to an environment on the platform and settings built into the game can be controlled from there.
